It’s this time of the year again, where everyone is reflecting on the past twelve months and posting a big list of books they have read. Truth be told, I didn’t read a lot of books last year. As software developers, we face code licensing every day. We intentionally or unintentionally use open source software libraries that put several liberties and constraints onto ourselves. And if we develop code with potential value to others, we may consider open sourcing it under a certain license.
